This Shaker divided carrier is 14 ¾” long by 10 ½” wide by 2 ¾” tall (5 ¼” to top of handle).
The center handle carrier has a multitude of uses. Put it to work at your next barbecue to hold napkins and condiments. It’s also useful to hold incoming and outgoing letters or your TV remotes and other electronics. The carrier is durable enough to be used – yet decorative enough to be a centerpiece on your table.
The carrier is constructed from a maple band, with a quarter-sawn pine bottom and handle. Each swallowtail joint is individually hand-cut with a knife. Copper tacks secure both the band and bottom board. Wooden pegs secure the handle.
Carriers are available in a variety of milk paint and natural finishes. A Tung Oil topcoat is applied to all our pieces.
On painted and antiqued pieces the tacks are darkened to provide an aged appearance. Per tradition the bottom of painted pieces are left unpainted, and are then dyed and oiled to provide an appearance of age.
