This pretty little thimble has a gold wash around the bottom. It was made by Waite Thresher Co of Providence, RI. The company was active from 1884 to 1928. There is a hallmark in the top of the thimble as well as the word “sterling” and the number 8 indicating the size. There is a prominent design of flourishes and curlicues which stand out nicely. There are no punctures but it is out of round as shown in the photo. What a great addition to a collection!
