Thimble, Sterling Silver, Ketcham & McDougall Size 7

Established in New York City in 1832, Ketcham & McDougall produced exceedingly high-quality thimbles.  The company ceased production in 1932, during the depths of the Great Depression.  There is a hallmark in the top, a large K with M and D on either side and the word “sterling” beneath it.  There are no punctures and it is not out of round.  There is a bit of patina which could be polished away or left as is.
