Late 1800’s Miniature Leather Bound Books with Brass Book Ends, Shakespeare

Measures:  3” tall, book ends – 2.5” tall

These leather-bound volumes are “book ended” by charming brass book ends featuring the author himself, William Shakespeare.  The books are not in perfect condition, they have been read and enjoyed.  They all have gilt top edges, decorative end papers and the titles on the spines are in gilt.  These were published by various publishers in the UK around the turn of the century according to my research.   These appear to have been souvenirs of the Tudor House in Stratford Upon Avon.
