So, another extraordinary toy from the early 1900’s! The original cord and “plug” are in place, I believe this would have plugged into a light socket. The box is in great shape, there is some evidence of wear but the snap closure is in place and works fine. This was made by The Central Flatiron Mfg Co. of Johnson City, NY. The iron is in very good condition, the cord does have some fraying near the plug. This iron is so petite, it fits in the palm of your hand! Imagine the tiny hands that used it to iron dolly’s dresses!
