1950's Carnival Glass Candy Dish, Loganberries, Iridescent Amber

Measures: 7" across top, 4" across bottom, 2.5" deep

This is a beautiful example of mid century iridescent amber carnival glass. The pattern is leaves and loganberries. There are no chips or cracks, it is in excellent condition. Originally, in the early 1900's carnival glass was given away as prizes at carnivals - hence the name. It's popularity lasted until the 1920's. In the 1950's carnival glass became fashionable as people noticed the older pieces and it was once again manufactured. I believe this piece to be from the 1950's. What a great addition to a collection or the start of one!
