Hand crafted many years ago from a light softwood, this pin cushion is likely one of a kind! There is a note on the bottom, “Alma (?) Calley, Dad when young”. I’m thinking that this means “Dad” made it when he was young for Alma…. The cushion is velvet and is in very good condition with just one little spot, as shown in the photo. The carving is impressive, even the nails in the horseshoe are carved of wood!
